Dr. Otto and his wife have seven sons and one daughter and live in Norton Shores. They are members of the Latter-Day Saints Church where they have served in a variety of positions in their congregation. With seven boys, the family is very active in scouting. Dr. Otto has served as scoutmaster for their local troop and is currently a leader in the Venture organization of scouting. The Otto family is an active supporter of competitive swimming programs at both the YMCA and local schools.
